This lens is from my personal collection. It was used for architectural and landscape photography.
Additional Notes:
This lens was designed for large format film photography. Not a lot of movement on a 4x5 format, but very good quality. It is quite capable on digital as well. Using the Hasselblad CFV 100C, I've compared it against my Apo-Digitar 100n which was designed for digital sensors. The Apo-Symmar is very close in sharpness, so close that at infinity I do not think you would be able to see the difference unless you look at them side by side. The benefit of the Apo-Digitar is that it performs noticeably better at close distances. The benefit of the Apo-Symmar is that it has a much larger image circle. For the price, it is very hard to beat the Apo-Symmar MC 100mm lens.
